About Me

Hi - I am Geraldine Hurd the founder and owner of Shockwave Watches.  You can buy in confidence form me as I am a successful entrepreneur, and award winning retailer.  My most recent award is to be a finalist in the Start Up Awards (2009), but I have won awards form the British Chamber of Commerce, HSBC, and Barclays Trading Places.  Perhaps my most successful business to date is Betty and Belle Lingerie, which trades both on-line and as a physical store.  Take a look on Big Cup Bras, Mastectomy Bras, and Bridal Lingerie.

It is a tough time in retailing at the moment, but I have seen my businesses go from strength to strength.  I operate both "real" (bricks and mortar) shops and on-line stores covering products from clothing to electronics.  These sound like very different products (which they are) but all of my businesses have the same things in common:

• A narrow selection of high quality products
• Trusted brands
• Great prices
• Backed up by great customer service

There aren't many on-line stores where the owners are confident (or brave) enough to put their name on it.
